Raver has done more than two hundred Wildlife in North Carolina cover illustrations. He illustrated the Fisherman's Guide: Fishes of the Southeastern United States by Charles S. Manooch. Jeff Lewis is the Gardens and Nursery Manager of The Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo and an avid birder and amateur naturalist. He’s had more than 1000 photos published in books, magazines, newspapers and a variety of other media. Reception: Oct. 3, 2-4 p.m. A lecture will be held with Raver and Manooch on October 4 at 7 p.m. in the Art Gallery. During 2010 the gallery at Roanoke Island Festival Park will feature a group of exhibitions that give voice to the Earth. Earth Speaks will feature earth friendly mini quilts, beach glass art, nature and weather photography, watercolor collages of whimsical landscapes and wildlife, realistic wildlife paintings and prints, and bird and floral photography, natural material baskets, clay vases and more.
