Lumberton NC and the Lumberton Youth Baseball Association (LYBA) will host the 2018 Dixie Youth World Series beginning July 27th and running until August 9th. All of the games will be played at the Pennington Athletic Complex off of Hornet Road. Players ranging from 7-12 years old participate in this event. Dixie Youth Baseball encompasses eleven states in the southeast and each state will send representatives here to vie for the World Series Championship. For 2 weeks, Lumberton and LYBA will host 60 teams, 720 players and their families for community based baseball. $10/Day pass, $25/Series pass, children 12 years and under, free. LYBA is a parent run, volunteer non-profit organization. It is operated collaboratively with the City of Lumberton and its recreation department. Website is www.lybabaseball.com
