Organized in 1981 to market and promote Coastal North Carolina as the preferred vacation destination in the southeastern United States. Our membership includes chambers of commerce, convention and visitor bureaus, attractions, accommodations, historic sites and other tourism-related businesses which are located along North Carolina's 300 mile coastline from Elizabeth City to Calabash. Together, representatives from a variety of organizations identify and pursue common goals that are more easily achieved through combined rather than individual efforts. In short, we share ideas, we share dollars and we share results.

Mission Statement: North Carolina Coast Host is the premier tourism marketing organization in eastern North Carolina. Our mission is to increase economic growth by promoting travel and tourism along North Carolina’s three hundred mile coastline. Our membership is comprised of tourism professionals who represent all facets of the travel industry, providing them the opportunity to network and share ideas while involving residents and visitors alike in exploration of our natural resources, beauty, history, and culture.

Membership is restricted to North Carolina entities who are located or do business in North Carolina from I-95 East.

Membership Classifications

Active Membership $350

Any individual or tourism-related business located on the North Carolina coast. Active members are entitled to all organizational benefits, may vote and hold office. Membership also includes free registration for one individual to the annual meeting.

Media Partner Membership $250

Media Partner Membership does not include free registration for one individual to the annual meeting.
